May 2026 Developer's Note
Hello, Commanders. I'm Hyungsuk Yoo, the director of GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE. In this developer's note, I will briefly introduce the major updates to be implemented in May and June.
Before I begin, I'd like to talk about the recent updates in spring. From the April Fool's Day event and side stories to the 3.5th Anniversary update, we released a variety of content and saw many Commanders having fun with it. Seeing that the content we prepared was well received by you, the developer team is delighted as well. We sincerely thank you for the support and suggestions you sent through the community and social media.
Among them, I personally look forward to the 4th Anniversary story the most. We will do our best to create something that you will enjoy.
New Nikkes in May & Event Preview
In the 3.5th Anniversary update, we presented the new look of the Counters Squad through the over-spec version of Anis and Neon. The fact that the members of the Counters — who have kept us company for a long time — would be showing a more mature side of themselves made this update an especially exciting one for the development team as well.
Of course, many of you showed strong interest in T.T. STAR through the 3.5th Anniversary event, and we're sure many of you are anticipating the appearance of the other members.
To explore the stories of these two Nikkes in more detail, the Event Stories B-SIDE IDOL and BITTER SPICE will run respectively, along with Pick-Up Recruitments of Mint and Prika. Please look forward to them.
TRACING THE STARS — Rhythm Game Updates
T.T.S. is a content that the developer team poured their blood, sweat, and tears into. Although it started off as a mini game in an event, we wanted it to stand as a fully polished rhythm game on its own. Because of this, we invited external experts to enhance the game and let you experience NIKKE's music through well-crafted patterns.
For our existing Commanders, it's another content that you can enjoy in the game, and for people who have yet to experience NIKKE, it's also an opportunity to showcase NIKKE's music and atmosphere.
Aside from this, we plan to launch the T.T.S. Special Shop and release a pack. The pack consists of only T.T.S. tracks and does not contain any Gems or development materials, and therefore will not affect the gameplay progress in NIKKE. We hope this is a well-structured pack for players who primarily enjoy T.T.S. The first pack contains 9 tracks.
Currently, scores from all difficulty levels are reflected in the overall ranking. For Commanders who mainly play on intermediate levels, we think this scoring system is somewhat vague. To allow everyone to enjoy competing and setting records at their preferred difficulty, we plan to separate the rankings by difficulty levels in July.
MEMORIES TELLER — Added to the Archives
The story in MEMORIES TELLER carries significant weight, and the event itself is meaningful, being a collaboration between two IPs under the same company. In a previous developer's note, we also shared our intent to archive it, and we plan to add it to the Archives through the update this May.
The story received positive feedback when it was released, so for Commanders who have yet to experience it, this is a great opportunity to play it in the Archives.
Upon unlocking the event in the Archives, you will obtain Lily, the character distributed at that time. The costumes EVE - Keyhole Dress and Raven - Planet Diving Suit (6th) V2 can also be obtained for free via the event missions.
June Update Contents
A three-week event with a field will be held in June. Although it does not have a formal theme like the bunny events or maid events, we believe it will offer a fresh experience different from previous events.
In addition to this, the event BOOM! THE GHOST! will be added to the Archives in June. The mini game BFG CLEAN UP will also become available in the Arcade, and we invite you to re-experience this mini game that many players enjoyed.
Lastly — Ease of Play
To make gameplay more comfortable for Commanders going forward, we will keep enhancing the game's ease of play. As part of this, we are planning improvements to skill upgrades in June. Skill upgrade is often conducted in the process of growing Nikkes, so we want to make it more convenient to use.
We are also carefully listening to your feedback on gameplay content. In the latter half of this year, we will increase the number of participants in the Champion Arena League and gradually implement improvements to the Arena, Coordinated Operation, Union Raid, and other content.
While it is difficult to revamp everything all at once, we are committed to being mindful of the inconveniences you experience over time while playing. We will carefully review your suggestions and make the right improvements.
We are sincerely grateful to all Commanders for your love, support, and feedback on GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE. We will take these sentiments as nourishment and strive to do our best as always, as the development team and operations team of NIKKE.
