Mint & Prika vs the Solo Raid S37 support field

Do the new T.T. STAR duo earn a raid slot? The parse data.

Mint and Prika just landed, and if you pulled them the question is simple: do the new T.T. STAR duo earn a seat in your Solo Raid lineup? I pulled every tracked support's parses from Season 37 (Ultra, a Fire boss that's Water-weak) and matched the duo against the whole field, from the maids to the top B2 solo supports, Crown and Nayuta.

1. How often was each support used?

Crown, the maids, and Nayuta tie near 1,350 parses each. Mint+Prika come fourth. Plenty of players run them. They drop off the podium once the solo B2s arrive. Crown leads on damage outright: the highest weighted average and the highest ceiling of any support, duo or solo.

2. Two archetypes, and why you can't swap across them

A solo B2 support like Crown or Nayuta holds the team in one slot and frees a fifth for DPS. A duo like Mint+Prika or the maids spends two. Crown's 9.3B against Mint+Prika's 7.1B compares two different things. The fair test keeps the comparison inside one archetype.

Duos: Mint+Prika vs the maids (same 3-unit core)

Mint+Prika win 4 of 5 fair cores. The best-sampled one, Alice + Anis:Star + Neon:VE, ran 68 times with them and 58 with the maids. Inside the duo lane, they already beat the maids.

Solo B2: Crown vs Nayuta (same 4-unit core)

Crown wins 6 of 9 fair cores. It is the stronger solo support. Nayuta answers with roster flexibility: 181 distinct comps against Crown's 81.

3. Damage profile

Archetype map, damage vs usage
Damage vs usage; bubble size = ceiling. Crown owns the top-right.

Crown sits alone in the top-right, leading on damage and usage at once. Mint+Prika land mid-pack at 7.1B average, and they hold the 2nd-highest ceiling of any support (16.0B), behind only Crown. Watch the slot cost. Crown's best team averages 14.2B on one support slot; Mint+Prika's best averages 13.8B on two.

4. Niche picks: Velvet & Grave

Grave shows the most promise of the two on Ultra (116 parses, 58 comps, 13.0B ceiling). Her best line, Anis:Star + SW:HA + Guillo:WS + Elegg, hit about 11.4B, and players paired her with Helm, Mihara, and Moran control cores. The ceiling is real, the sample raw. Velvet barely registers here at 65 parses, and 61 of them sit beside Nayuta. That fits her kit. Her real home is wind-weak content, where she enables Siren's Bubble March for extra damage. On a Water-weak boss like Ultra she has little to add.

5. So why are the maids still T0?

Fair question, since the duo just beat them on those matched cores, and the maids sit two tiers up at T0 while Mint+Prika hold T2. Tier rates a unit across the whole game, not one core in one raid. The maids slot into far more teams than the idols, and that reach is the gap.

Maid Mast pairs with Crown for a higher-damage line. Anchor flexes onto Treasure Helm for a specialized healing comp. Their reload-speed buff lands on almost any kit: with a level-15 Resilience cube, most units hit one-frame reloads. That value follows you into whatever team you build.

The idols buff harder, and their reach is the catch. Prika mostly exists to power up Mint, so the pair stays welded together instead of flexing apart. Their buffs feed pierce and explosive damage, and only a short list of DPS wants that today, among them Alice, Red Hood, Asuka, Rapi, and Neon: Vision Eye.
